The Dom a mountain in the Pennine Alps and the Dom Hut:
The Dom is a mountain of the Pennine Alps, located between Randa and Saas-Fee in the canton of Valais. With its 4.545 m summit it is the third highest mountain in the Alps and the second highest in Switzerland, after Monte Rosa.
The Dom is the highest alpine peak in Switzerland and is located in the canton of Valais. With its twin Täschhorn 4.491 m and the Lenzspitze 4.294 m they form the center of the Mischabelgroup together.
The Dom Hut is an alpine shelter of the Swiss Alpine Club and is located in the Swiss Canton of Valais, in the municipality of Randa, in the Mischabelgroup of the Valais Alps.
The path follows from Randa. This ascent takes approximately 4½ hours and requires a certain degree of steplessness and little dizziness. Shortly above the forest border, the ascent to the Dom Hut crosses the Europaweg, a high-way path from Grachen to Zermatt, near the Europa Hut

The Kin Hut 2.584 m Is a mountain retreat in the Mischabel Massif, in the Pennine Alps, located in the Mattertal, Canton of Valais.
The refuge Kin Hut is located on a rocky spur of the southeastern ridge of Grabenhorn, a mountain that is located along the ridge which descends to the west of the Dom. It was rebuilt in 2001 on the ruins of an old refuge of 1903.

Alpe Täsch, Täschalp and the Täsch Hut:
From the Täsch valley the vision of the Weisshorn is simply fantastic. Täschalp is also the starting point for several tours of the Swiss Valais and the Zermatt Valley.
In June, in the Täschalp valley, the cows from Täsch, Randa and Zermatt go to the mountains to spend the summer. The dessert meadows with their alpine herbs will then be included in the famous Täsch Alpine Cheese, which is first transformed into milk. A cheese with spicy flavour, which once ripened gives an absolutely superior taste.

The Weisshorn mountain and the Weisshorn Hut:
The Weisshorn is a mountain located in Swiss territory in the Pennine Alps. With its height of 4.505 m it is one of the highest mountains of the group and of the whole chain of the Alps. It is located north of the Matterhorn and northwest of Zermatt.
The Weisshorn is shaped like a pyramid with three crests and three walls. A first east-facing crest descends towards Randa; A second, called Schaligrat, south-southe-east-oriented, connects the mountain with the Schalihorn; The last north-facing crest joins the Bishorn.
The Weisshorn Hut 2.932 m is an alpine hut situated in the Alps of Weisshorn and Matterhorn, Pennine Alps in Randa, Valais. The Weisshorn Hut is located on the southern slopes of Weisshorn just below the Schaligletscher.
The climb to the Weisshorn Hut takes place from Randa in the Mattertal and takes about four hours and thirty.

Europa Hut is a hut located in the municipality of Randa, Valais, Switzerland, in the Mattertal valley, in the Mischabel Massif of the Pennine Alps, at 2.220 m.
The Swiss Tour Monte Rosa is a circular hiking trail around the Monte Rosa massif and the Mischabel massif in the Pennine Alps. The Italian and the Swiss side are both interested in the journey.
The Swiss Tour Monte Rosa traces the paths of the Walser people in their shifts between a valley and the other one. It is organized in nine stages with departure and arrival in Zermatt in Valais.

The suspension bridge Charles Kuonen: charleskuonen.ch
The Charles Kuonen suspension bridge was inaugurated on the day 29 july 2017 after it was built to replace an older crossing that was damaged by falling rocks.
It is a record 1,620ft long and, at its highest point, 278ft high. Below it is the Grabengufer ravine, an area at the foot of the highest mountain in Switzerland - the Dom - which is 14,911 ft high. The bridge forms part of a hiking route between the towns of Zermatt and Grachen, and includes views of the legendary Matterhorn.
The Charles Kuonen Suspension Bridge completes the Europaweg from Grächen to Zermatt. Many people consider this to be the most beautiful two-day hike in the Alps. If one covers the entire trail, one enjoys views of the Matterhorn, Weisshorn and the Bernese Alps. The suspension bridge can also be reached by foot from Randa.
To Know: The Matterhorn Golf Hotel is located near to the Charles Kuonen suspension bridge.
